What makes this experience different from typical falcon shows?

This is not a photo-prop display or a staged performance. You will learn, train, fly, and—if you choose—hunt with a real Arabian falcon under expert guidance.

It’s a full apprenticeship-style day rooted in heritage, ethics, and hands-on interaction.


Do I actually get to fly the falcon?

Yes. Under close supervision, you will call the falcon to your arm, send it into flight, and watch it return.

Guests do not simply observe; they participate.


Yes. Guests may take part in a traditional pigeon hunt using a trained hunting falcon.

All hunting is ethically conducted, supervised, and limited.

Approximately 8 hours, including learning, handling, flight training, lunch, and hunting.


Where does the experience take place?

In an open desert within a protected reserve area near Riyadh (exact location provided upon booking).

We choose locations that are spacious, safe, quiet, and suitable for training and hunting.


Is the experience safe for beginners?

Yes. You will be guided step-by-step. All interactions with the falcon are controlled, and you will never be asked to do anything unsafe or uncomfortable.


Recommended minimum age is 12 years old.

Younger children may attend as observers but may not handle the falcon.

Is there an age minimum?


Moderately. Guests should be able to walk on sand for short distances and hold a falcon on their arm (with a glove).

You do not need prior experience or athletic ability.

No. Guests may opt out of the hunting portion and continue observing instead.

We follow The Falcon Code, which prioritizes the bird’s safety and comfort above all.


Like any athlete, they do. We monitor their energy and behavior closely and rotate birds when needed. Sessions stop immediately if a falcon shows signs of fatigue.

Do the falcons get tired?


Are the falcons harmed during hunting?

No. Hunting is a natural behavior.

Falcons are trained specifically for it, and prey selection follows traditional and ethical standards.

Are the falcons blindfolded?

Only when appropriate for calm transport or rest—and never for staged tourist photos.

We do not use falcons as decor.


Yes. Private bookings are available for families, VIP guests, corporate groups, and photographers.

Do you offer private sessions?

Can I join without participating?

Yes, observers may attend at a reduced rate.


Comfortable desert-appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, a hat or head cover, sunglasses, and a jacket during the winter months.

We provide gloves and falconry equipment.

Yes, a light meal or snack is included.

Please inform us of dietary restrictions in advance.

Yes. Mobile desert facilities are provided at the base camp.

Can I take photos and videos?

Absolutely.

There will be dedicated moments for photography, including the falcon resting on your arm.


What happens if the weather is too hot, cold, or windy?

Falcons cannot fly in extreme conditions.

If conditions threaten safety, we will reschedule or issue a full refund.


Typically, autumn (fall) through spring, depending on temperature and wind conditions.

Summer sessions are limited or adapted to ensure falcon welfare.
